*Casino Rocket Australia Editorial — Actualizado 10 July 2026*
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies rocket-casinos-australia.net uses, why they are set, and how you can control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers the wider question of how we handle any personal data we collect.
1. What Are Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store when you visit. On your next visit — or on subsequent pages within the same visit — the browser sends the file back so the site can recognise the session, remember a preference, or count you as a returning visitor.
Cookies are not programs. They cannot install software, read files on your device, or access your bank account. Modern browsers isolate cookies by domain, so a cookie set by rocket-casinos-australia.net cannot be read by casinorocket.com or any other unrelated site.
Related storage mechanisms (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) work similarly. Where we mention «cookies» in this policy, we mean the entire browser-side storage layer.
2. Types We Use
We keep the cookie footprint small and split it into three categories.
Strictly necessary. These are required for the site to load and function. They cover session state (whether you have accepted the consent banner, for example), CSRF protection on the contact form, and Cloudflare’s bot-mitigation cookies. They cannot be switched off from the consent banner — without them, the site does not run correctly.
- `cf_clearance` (Cloudflare, ~30 min): bot-check clearance token so real visitors are not repeatedly challenged.
- `__cf_bm` (Cloudflare, ~30 min): bot management fingerprint.
- `cookie_consent_status` (this site, 12 months): remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. Prevents the banner from reappearing every visit.
- `wp_*` (WordPress, session): only if you log in as an editor; regular readers never receive these.
Analytics. Used to measure how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are read, from which country, on which device. We do not use analytics cookies to identify you personally. Analytics can be rejected from the consent banner.
- `_ga`, `_ga_XXXXXXX` (Google Analytics 4, 13 months): pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers.
- `_gid` (Google Analytics, 24 hours): daily unique visitor grouping.
Performance. Cloudflare and our own site occasionally set short-lived cookies to speed up delivery of static assets or to remember A/B variant assignment for layout tests. These are also rejectable from the banner.
We do not currently use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not embed third-party ad networks (no Google Ads, no Taboola/Outbrain widgets, no social-media pixels). If that ever changes, we will update this list before the new cookie is deployed.
3. Third-Party Cookies
The two third parties whose cookies you may encounter are described above:
- Google Analytics (`_ga`, `_ga_*`, `_gid`): analytics only. Their cookie policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
- Cloudflare (`cf_clearance`, `__cf_bm`): security and performance. Their cookie policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/cookie-policy/.
When you click through to Casino Rocket via one of our affiliate buttons, you enter Casino Rocket’s own domain (casinorocket.com) and are then subject to their cookies and privacy notice. The tracker link (adminclick.org) may also drop a short-lived attribution cookie. We do not read or receive the contents of those third-party cookies on our side — we only see whether a click occurred.
If you want a wider overview of the Casino Rocket product before clicking anything, our главная обзора Casino Rocket is a cookie-free introduction, and the full review covers licence, banking, and bonus mechanics in one place.
4. Your Choices
You have three layers of control:
Consent banner. On your first visit you see a banner offering Accept / Reject / Manage. Rejecting non-essential cookies switches off analytics and performance cookies for the current browser and remembers your choice for 12 months. You can reopen the banner at any time from the footer link labelled «Cookie settings».
Browser settings. All modern browsers let you block cookies globally, block third-party cookies specifically, or clear stored cookies. Instructions per browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions → Cookies and Site Data.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies at the browser level may prevent parts of the site from loading. Blocking analytics is safe.
Opt-out tools. For Google Analytics specifically you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) which prevents `_ga`-family cookies from being read for measurement.
If you use a mobile device, iOS and Android privacy settings both include options to reset or limit ad and analytics identifiers.
5. Consent Banner
The banner is shown once per visitor and stores its result in the `cookie_consent_status` cookie described above. Categories accepted at that point are activated for the next visit; categories rejected remain disabled until you re-open the banner and change the answer.
The banner distinguishes between «Accept all», «Reject non-essential», and «Manage preferences». «Manage preferences» lets you toggle each non-essential category (Analytics, Performance) individually. We do not use dark-pattern designs — the «Reject» button is the same size and colour weight as «Accept».
For visitors from the EU/UK, consent is opt-in for non-essential cookies (no analytics fires before you tick Accept). For visitors from Australia, we apply the same opt-in behaviour by default — even though the Privacy Act 1988 does not strictly require it — because it is cleaner and easier to explain.
6. Contact
Questions about cookies, requests to re-open the banner, or reports of a cookie appearing that is not listed above should be sent through our Contact page. For wider data-handling questions, see the Privacy Policy. We respond within a working week.
